Terms and Conditions of website use

In these Terms and Conditions, references to “CultureHive” are references to the website, created and managed by the Arts Marketing Asssociation. References to “AMA”, “us” or “our(s)” are references to the Arts Marketing Association. The company details of the AMA can be found at the end of these Terms and Conditions.

References to “you” or “your” are references to you, the user of the Website.

References to “the Website” are references to the Website at

References to “User Content” are references to any user-generated content posted, attached or added to the Website including but not limited to any resources, documents, commentary, emails, information, screenshots, photographs, pictures, videos, text, artwork and any other user-generated material.

References to “Intellectual Property Rights” are references to any copyright, trade marks, design rights or other intellectual property rights existing from time to time.

Your use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions.

The AMA reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without notice. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions regularly. Your continued use of this Website after amendments are made means you accept the Terms and Conditions as updated.

Except as permitted in these Terms and Conditions, you may not alter the Website in any way or do anything that might or will damage or disrupt the good working order of the Website or our equipment or software.

No contract will exist between you and the AMA for the purchase of any product or service through the Website, until you have received written confirmation from the AMA (by e-mail, post or fax).

The AMA does not hold any credit / debit card data on the CultureHive website.

Your information, usernames and passwords

You agree to only provide current, complete and accurate information to AMA when you use the Website (including if you sign up as a member or contribute User Content to the Website).

Copyright and Creative Commons

All proprietary rights and Intellectual Property Rights in the Website, including all design, text and graphics, as well as the underlying source code and any User Content (BUT not including any AMA blog user-generated content), is owned by AMA or third parties.

Unless otherwise stated, content on this site is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.0 (UK: England & Wales) licence. You are free to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work, and to make derivative works, so long as you give the original author credit and you do not use the work for commercial purposes; if you alter, transform or build upon the work, you must release the resulting work only under a licence identical to this.

User content and links to third parties

This Website provides contact details of third parties and links to other websites or resources. The AMA does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.

Privacy policy 

Any personal information that you provide when you use the Website may be shared with the following persons/organisations:

  • providers of support services to AMA;
  • companies or organisations that are carrying out work on AMA’s behalf; and
  • members of the public that access the Website (including other members of this Website) and are able to view User Content you have posted to the Website.

AMA accepts no liability for any misuse of your personal information by third parties and you therefore proceed at your own risk.

The AMA will not sell, trade, or rent to others any of your personal information provided via this Website except as set out above or unless we have had your informed consent to do so.
