The Arts Working Group: Planning guides and toolkits

By The Arts Working Group

SUMMARY

A series of guides, toolkits and templates released by The Arts Working Group and Ticketsolve to aid planning and operations towards re-opening following the coronavirus pandemic.

Reopening safely through clear communications

A critical part to re-opening is clear communication with audiences. In order for any health and safety measures to be effective, you will need to educate your customers about changes they can expect. It is important that audiences understand that adhering to a slightly different digital and physical journey will help to reduce risk for staff as well as themselves.

Included in this toolkit you will find plenty of examples, templates that cover the six steps you need to consider as part of your customers’ digital journey with your organisation.

Recovery Toolkit: Risk assessment templates

The Arts Working Group has compiled this module of the toolkit to address risk assessments which is an important first step towards reopening.

The toolkit is designed to support venues, theatres, and arts organisations across the UK as they plan for recovery, prepare for reopening, and protect their teams and their audiences in the process.

Recovery Toolkit: Returning to Volunteering

For many arts organisations, volunteers form an important part of the front of house and box office teams. Volunteers engage positively with audience members and welcome them to your venue to make sure their experience is memorable and to ensure their safety at all costs. As we look towards reopening, it’s important that we take into consideration the feelings of volunteers around returning to venues.

This guide was created to help strengthen communications around the new procedures in place for the safety of volunteers.
