Theme 1 — Digital Engagement

The Arts Marketing Association (AMA) is a membership body working with individuals and organisations in the arts, culture and heritage sector to reach more audiences through training, resources and networking. We have over 3,000 members who have responsibilities for marketing, communications and audience development. By helping to support them, we upskill the sector to enable more audiences to access and benefit from arts and heritage. The AMA also manages AMAculturehive which powers the Digital Heritage Hub, and is a free online resource hub for cultural professionals that brings the collective intelligence of the sector together in one place.

Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy transform the knowledge, skills and confidence around digital fundraising. Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy have focused development of their reach into heritage through collaborative working with a number of regional Museum Development Networks and have joined the Museum Sector Support Alliance which brings together both ACE funded and non-funded infrastructure organisations to support this part of the sector.

One Further is a digital analytics, usability research and content strategy consultancy. One Further’s focus is helping clients use data to better understand and engage with their users. Theme 2 — Digital Content

Logo of The Heritage AllianceEstablished in 2002, The Heritage Alliance represents the independent heritage movement in England. We have a unique role, promoting and championing the sector in all its diversity:

— We influence legislation and policy through our extensive links with Government, Parliament and Sector Networks.

We bring the sector together in our advocacy and working groups, events and publications

— We help the sector grow through both member-only initiatives and broader sector support programmes with partners like the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, Media Trust and Clore Leadership.

Charity Digital (previously Tech Trust) was established in 2001 to help other charities accelerate their missions using digital technology. We improve digital awareness and connect charities to the digital expertise they need, while partnering with leading technology providers to deliver the UK’s only software donation platform, Charity Digital Exchange. We’ve helped more than 400,000 charity professionals learn about digital transformation through our media platform and saved the sector more than £260 million on much-needed technology.

Logo of Media TrustAt Media Trust, we believe it’s by giving everyone a voice that we’ll get to a more equal society. That’s why we’re proud to be working with thousands of charities to strengthen their storytelling, advocacy and campaigning, press engagement and social media.

We do this through media, comms and digital skills training delivered in partnership with our media and creative industry partners and by matching media industry volunteers with charities looking for comms support.

At the same time, our youth programmes are giving thousands of young people the creative digital media skills, access and mentoring to break into the media.
