Tom Beardshaw

Tom is a freelancer working in digital marketing, education and coaching. He is a digital strategist and artist with a background in anthropology, social ethics and multiplatform production. He has worked extensively with theatres in Wales enhancing their use of digital media, winning awards for designing and producing digital work amplifying and creating engagement with performances.

Tom has a broad client base across the arts, heritage, government, business, charity and social enterprise. He’s worked with the Wales Millennium Centre, National Theatre Wales, Cambridge and Princeton Universities and the National Botanic Garden of Wales. He has pioneered networked, multiplatform adaptations in the theatre sector, developing a hyper-connected approach to shows like National Theatre Wales’ The Passion with Michael Sheen, The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning, and Theatr Genedlaethol’s Y Bont.

Tom is an accredited Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching, and his mentoring work with the Digital Marketing Academy has a strong coaching flavour, focussed on harnessing his Fellows’ insights and knowledge to further their learning and development.
