Sophie Heath

Sophie Heath | Director | Museum of Royal Worcester
Sophie took over as the Director of the Museum of Royal Worcester in December 2018. She has a BA Hons/BSc in Art History and Chemistry from the Australian National University in Canberra and an MA in the History of Design from the Royal College of Art / V&A. She has over 15 years of experience of heritage venue, collections and programme management in the West Midlands working for the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust and for Wolverhampton Arts and Heritage. In addition to industrial design history and ceramics, Sophie has an interest in and experience of curating and commissioning contemporary craft, managing an Arts Council England funded programme for six years.

Digital Heritage Hub is managed by Arts Marketing Association (AMA) in partnership with The Heritage Digital Consortium and The University of Leeds. It has received Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and National Lottery funding, distributed by The Heritage Fund as part of their Digital Skills for Heritage initiative. Digital Heritage Hub is free and answers small to medium sized heritage organisations most pressing and frequently asked digital questions.
