Rebecca Ward

Rebecca Ward joined Cause4 as Development Coordinator after completing an MA at the University of Leeds in Music and Management. She has experience in music education, marketing and programme development. Most recently she worked in the creative engagement team at The Leeds International Piano Competition to realise The Leeds Piano Trail 2021 and worked externally with Leeds Festival Chorus on their fundraising strategy and development.
Rebecca’s interest in wider third-sector development and best practice was inspired when she founded her own organisation during the Covid-19 pandemic, Young Musicians for Social Justice, which aims to support and mobilise young musicians for sustainable social justice solutions. She is ambitious to see the arts and charitable sector thrive, particularly grass-roots initiatives and organisations.

This case study is based on an original conversation with Celia Gilbert from The Rose Playhouse as part of the Digital Heritage Lab. Cause4’s Rebecca Ward caught up with Celia to talk about how the success of their online engagement during the pandemic has impacted their digital fundraising plans.
