Nina White, University of Leeds



Nina joined University of Leeds in 2024 as Post-Doctoral Research Fellow on DCMS and AHRC funded project ‘Developing a taxonomy for culture and heritage capital,’ led by Historic England.

Prior to joining Leeds, she completed her PhD at Teesside University (2018-2023) with the thesis ‘The museum and the rhizome: A study of posthuman practice at Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art’ which focused on applying posthuman philosophy to contemporary artistic and curatorial practice. While completing her PhD she worked in a variety of research roles in the charity and cultural sectors, nationally and in the North East of England.
