Hannah Hethmon
Hannah Hethmon brings a unique background of literary studies, museum and public history experience, and storytelling know-how to her production work.
Hannah is the author of the popular handbook Your Museum Needs a Podcast: A Step-By-Step Guide to Podcasting on a Budget for Museums and Cultural Nonprofits. She is the creator and host of Museums in Strange Places, an American Alliance of Museums award-winning podcast that was recently selected for collection and preservation by the United States Library of Congress.
She has a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park and an M.A. in Viking and Medieval Norse Studies from the University of Iceland. Her previous work includes many years of small business marketing and Marketing Coordinator at the American Association for State and Local History. In 2018, she was the recipient of a Fulbright grant to study museum culture in Iceland.
Originally from the greater Washington, D.C. area, Hannah lives in London and works internationally.
