Edward Appleyard yw Cyfarwyddwr Ymgysylltu Ymddiriedolaeth Harewood House Trust yn Leeds, lle mae’n arwain prosiectau ar draws y busnes ac yn ymdrin â phob agwedd ar ymgysylltu â chynulleidfaoedd (marchnata, cyfathrebu, profiad ymwelwyr, aelodaeth a mwy), gan adeiladu ar brofiad dros ddau ddegawd o weithio ym maes y celfyddydau a diwylliant.

Cyn symud i’r sector treftadaeth, cerddoriaeth oedd ffocws Edward ac arweiniodd y gwaith llwyddiannus ysgubol o ailfrandio Cerddorfa’r London Symphony Orchestra (LSO), yn rhan o dîm a enillodd 26 o wobrau cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol, gan ddefnyddio’r profiad hwn yn ddiweddarach i ailfrandio Harewood. Bu hefyd yn gadeirydd ar grŵp trefnu cyfres BMW Classics Cerddorfa’r LSO – cyngerdd blynyddol am ddim yn Sgwâr Trafalgar, gyda ffrwd fyw i bedwar ban byd gyda Syr Simon Rattle.

Mae Edward wrthi’n gyson yn mynd ar drywydd prosiectau a heriau newydd. Mae wedi canfod ei draed fel arweinydd penderfynol, gan weithio ar draws sefydliad ac ennill enw da am ymgysylltu â thimau. Hwn – ynghyd ag eglurder gweledigaeth am strategaeth a gweithio strategol, ac am allu gweld y darlun ehangaf posibl ar gyfer sefydliad a’i gyd-destun – sydd wedi arwain at ei swydd bresennol yn Harewood a’i uchelgais barhaus i gysylltu pobl â’r celfyddydau.
