Dr Mathilde Pavis
Dr Mathilde Pavis is an expert in intellectual property law, ethics and new technologies.
Mathilde has 10+ years experience in research and training. Her work has been cited by the UK Parliament to inform new laws on artificial intelligence. Mathilde now advises governments, organisations and businesses about the impact of digital and AI technologies on sensitive data.
Mathilde has grants to fund her research on the synthetisation of humans and the digitisation of sensitive data. With her most recent grant, Mathilde co-founded the UK’s first pro bono law and digitisation clinic designed to support cultural institutions (GLAM-E Lab). She works part time as Associate Professor in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Reading.
