Bu’n Ysgrifennydd ar gyfer Grŵp y Museums Copyright Group ac mae’n aelod gweithgar o rwydwaith eiddo deallusol y Museums IP network, cymuned y London Copyright Community of Practice for Universities and grŵp y Government Department Copyright Practitioners Group. Ym maes bancio buddsoddiadau roedd ei gyrfa gynnar, yn defnyddio sgiliau contractio, iaith a chronfeydd data fel Cyd-drafodydd Cyfreithiol gyda Barclays de Zoete Webb ac fel Rheolwr Cynorthwyol, Deilliadau gyda WestLB, Llundain.

Mae Debbie yn meddu ar PgDip mewn Cyfraith Hawlfraint yn y DU, yr UD a’r UE o Goleg y Brenin, Llundain, MA mewn Astudiaethau Orielau Celf ac Amgueddfeydd o Brifysgol Manceinion a BA Cydanrhydedd mewn Ffrangeg ac Almaeneg o Brifysgol Hull.
