Carl Woodward



Carl is a theatre practitioner passionate about performing arts. Learning, teaching and inspiring others to understand and appreciate theatre has been a part of his output. His varied career and participation projects that he has been associated with, have largely resulted in him empowering, and/or enhancing appreciation of theatre as an art form.

Carl has been working freelance with a variety of Arts organisations across the South West over the past five years including Proteus Theatre Company, Theatre Royal Winchester, Dorset School of Acting, Salisbury Playhouse & Forest Forge. He is an Associate Lecturer at University of Chichester.

Carl serves as the Vice Chair of Bournemouth and Poole Holocaust Memorial Day Committee and is a trustee for Dorchester Arts.

Carl has an established history of working in youth theatre and education settings delivering inclusive creative learning for all ages.

He conducted an immensely successful year of Young Critics workshops across different regional theatres in the South West in 2015.
