AMA conference 2018 — The Power of Play

24 – 26 July 201, ACC Liverpool

Play is a serious business. In a time of shrinking budgets and strange politics, arts organisations increasingly recognise that a creative response is critical to survival. Without creativity, innovation can’t happen. It’s those innovative strokes of genius that make us resilient and make audiences want to know us.

Play is about responding to challenge, replacing isolation with collaboration, embracing risk, and experimenting. If play became central to our work what would our organisations look like and what could we achieve?

At AMA conference 2018, we want to launch ourselves into the realm of exploration and ask ourselves, ‘can we afford not to put play first?’.

Join hundreds of other arts, culture and heritage professionals in this vibrant and exciting city for two and half days of exploration, learning and inspiration.

You’ll gain new ideas, a renewed energy for your work and gather great insights, with plenty of opportunities to network and make new connections.

‘For me, it’s about experimenting, taking risks and getting out of your comfort zone. We can get so bogged down in the day to day and forget how lucky we are to work in such a creative sector. ‘
