I have worked in a marketing capacity with Artsadmin for just over 2 years after gaining invaluable experience in Digital Communications through a placement with LIFT (who I continue to work with in my role as a member of their digital board). My role at Artsadmin has grown in parallel to the company – we tour artists’ projects internationally, support artists at every stage of their career through mainly free opportunities and we’re also the people behind Toynbee Studios – a hub for artists, performers and coffee-drinkers. As well as dabbling in print and other marketing activities, I mainly manage our online presence whether that be over our social media channels, through email marketing or delivering campaigns that touch on all of the above simultaneously.
I’m interested in how artists’ work can have a digital footprint so as to reach new and diverse audiences. At Artsadmin, the artists we work with are at the centre of everything we do so I’d love to see what a artist-led content strategy might look like.
