Dave has been Head of Marketing and Sales at Gulbenkian, Canterbury since April 2014. Before that he has working in marketing and communications for organisations including The National Trust, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and Turner Contemporary.
Jess Thomas fell into marketing after panic applying for internships following graduating from University (after deciding not to become a scenic designer) and came up trumps with an internship Shakespeare’s Globe Communications department which swiftly moved into becoming their Communications Assistant for a little while.
She then jumped on the fast train to Canterbury for a role in Marketing at Gulbenkian which has grown and developed as the organisation has over the last 4 years contributing what she likes to refer to as a Gulbenkian empire. Over the course of building this empire she has covered all aspects of the marketing mix, redeveloped a website, rebranded the venue and overhauled digital comms with a particular focus on Children and Young People. Jess is thrilled to be involved in the digital marketing academy.
