Recruiting and retaining talent within our sector can be a challenge. It’s a time-consuming process, that many organisations have to navigate without the help of HR departments or support.
In this video, two organisations share how they have changed their approach to recruitment. Eman Bhatti from New Adventures discusses the work she has undertaken to ensure equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) is at the heart of their recruitment process, and Danielle Patrick from the AMA explores how small tweaks have opened up the opportunity of new talent joining the organisation.

Dani has over ten years of experience working in operations roles at the AMA.She leads on strategic business operations, which include recruitment, team development, and internal communications. Dani focusses on embedding equitable and inclusive processes and staff wellbeing into her operations work, and has been redeveloping the AMA’s recruitment processes with those things at the core of the work.
