John Wright, Centre for Cultural Value
John is a lecturer, curator and artist currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Centre for Cultural Value, University of Leeds. His work with the Centre is focused on researching the impact of COVID-19 on the cultural sector. John is co-founder of artist-led collective The Retro Bar at the End of the Universe and has a curatorial background in museums, galleries and in artist-led activity. He recently completed a PhD focusing on the role of friendship in collectivism both historically and in contemporary art.
